Makesureall cablesare routedto the left of the chute control
rod. Lineup the hole in the hexend of chute rod with the arrowon
the inputshaftand insert the hexend of the rod intothe inputshaft
belowjoystickon handlepanel.See Figure7.
NOTE:The chute rodwill fit snugglyintothe inputshaft. Supportthe
rear of the dashpanelwith one hand whileinsertingthe chute rodwith
yourotherhand to ensurethe chute rod is insertedall the way intothe
inputshaft.
8. Now pushthe roundend of chute rod back towardsthe handle
paneluntil the hole in the rod lines up with the hole in the chute
controlinputclosestto the chute controlhead.Insertthecotter
pin.See Figure8.
NOTE:The secondhole is usedto achievefurtherengagement o f
the hexend of chute rod intothe input shaftif requiredand can be
usedlaterfor adjustmentif the chutedoes notfully rotate.Referto the
Service& Maintenancesectionfor ChuteControlRodadjustments.
9. Finishsecuringchutecontrol headto chute supportbracketwith
wingnut, and clevispin and bow-tiecotter pin removedearlier.Do
not overtighten. S ee Figure9.
