TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION
Battery will not • Bad battery cell(s). • Replace battery.
charge • Poor cable connections. • Check/clean all connections.
• Faulty regulator • Replace regulator.
(if so equipped).
• Faulty alternator. • Replace alternator.
Engine"backfires" • Engine throttle control not • Move throttle control to
whenturning set at "SLOW" position "SLOW" position and allow
engine "OFF" for 30 seconds before to idle for 30 seconds before
