I Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)
This section describes the basic operations.

Turn the camera on.
,_1 Press POWER down fully to turn the camera on.
(2, Set the Mode dial to I_ (FinePix A900/FinePix A825/
FinePix A820/FinePix A800 only).
CAUTION
Step ,2_: is only for FinePix A900/FinePix A825/FinePix
A820/FinePix A800. Since there is no mode dial on
FinePix A610, ignore step (2_:, w hen using that model.

HoMing the camera correctly
Brace your elbows
against your sides and
hold the camera with both
hands.

_ CAUTION
• Moving the camera while shooting gives a blurred
picture (camera shake). Hold tile camera steadily with
both hands.
• If the lens or flash is obscured by your fingers or the
strap, subjects may be out of focus or the brightness
(exposure) of your shot may be incorrect.
• Check that the lens is clean. If it is dirty (getting
fingerprints on the lens etc,), clean the lens as informed
on p.118,
