EXTERNAL
SURFACES
If your chain saw is to be stored for a
period of time, clean it thoroughly
before storage. Store in a clean dry area.
• Lightly oil external metal surfaces
and
guide bar.
• Oil the chain and wrap it in heavy
paper or cloth.
To prevent chain oil seepage
during
storage,
store the saw as follows:
• upside down if stored on a shelf, or
• hung on a hook or nail through the
hole in the bar
