scouringpads, brushes, a brasive cleanersor strungalkaline soluticnscnanysurface.
Do notwash anyremovableparts ina dishwasher.
Alwaysunplug thepower cord from thewalloutletbeforecleaning.Turning
thecontrol toOFFdoesnotdisconnect p owertothecontrols, l ight bulb, or other
electrical ccnpcnents.
Inside
Washinside surfaces o ftherefrigerator andfreezerwith a soluticn o f2tablespscrs
bakingsodain i quartwarmwater. Rinse anddrythoroughly. Be sure towring
excess water out of sponge or cloth before cleaningaround thecontrols,
lightbulb, oranyelectricalparts.
Washremoval)1 epartssuchasshei yesanddrawers withbaking scdasol utionormiid
detergent and warm water. DO NOT USE HARSH CLEANERS ON THESE SUR-
FACES. Rinse anddrythoroughly. C1eanthedoorgasket swithmiid suds, rinse with
clear waterandwipedry.Donotuserazor blades orothersharpinstruments which
canscratch t heappliance s urface w henremoving adhesive l abels. A nyglueieftfrcm
the tapeor energylabelcanbe removedwith amixtureof warmwater andmild
detergent, o r,touchtheresidue withthestickysideof tapealready removed. DO
NOT REMOVE THE SERIAL PLATE.
Outside
Washthecabinet andhandles withwarmwater andmildliquiddetergent. Rinse well
andwipedrywitha cleansoftcloth.
Whenmoving therefrigerator, pullstraight o ut.Donotshift therefrigerator frcm
sidetosideasthismaytearorgouge thefloor covering. I ftherefrigerator hasan
automaticicemaker,be carefulnot tomove therefrigerator beyondplumbing
crrmecticns.
Periodicallyclean the condenser (blacktubes andwires on theback of the
refrigerator). Using avacutmwith its dusting tcolatta_t, vacutmthe coils to
remove dustbuild-up. D onotallowlintordustto accunulate o nthecoils.
Thedefrost water panislocated atthebottcm rearoftherefrigerator cntopofthe
compressor (shown left).Thepanshouldbe cleanedperiodically. Wipecleanwith
ada_ocloth.
Replacing the Light Bulb
To replacethelightbulb:

Z Weargloves asprotecticn a gainst possible brokenglass.
