4. Insert a fully charged battery (1). Pivot the battery in the direction shown by the arrow (2), and gently
press it until it clicks into place.
5. Slide the battery latch to the locked position.
6. Turn the computer over again. Connect the ac power adapter and the cables to the computer.

Replacing the hard disk drive

Before you start, print these instructions.
You can replace the hard disk drive with a new one which can be purchased from your Lenovo reseller or a
marketing representative. To replace the hard disk drive, read the following prerequisites, and select your
model from the list below for instruction.
Note: Replace the hard disk drive only if you upgrade it or have it repaired. The connectors and slot of the
hard disk drive were not designed for frequent changes, or drive swapping.
