Probable Cause/Solution
Disk hardware is faulty. Replace the
disk.
– An incompatible or defective
component caused a temporary
fault.
– Power supply hardware is faulty.
Unplug the power cord and wait for the
LED to turn off. Reinsert the power
cord. If fault persists, replace the power
supply.
Fan has slowed or stopped. Replace
the fan.
LCC hardware is faulty. Replace the
LCC.
The Enclosure ID on the installed LCC
does not match the Enclosure ID on the
peer LCC. Reset the Enclosure ID and
reinsert the LCC.
– GBIC transmission circuit has failed.
– GBIC is not receiving power.
Reseat the GBIC. If problem persists,
replace GBIC. If the replacement GBIC
fails, contact HP technical support.
