HP D2D250x Series
Each HP D2D2502 Target Appliance can support up to four Source Appliances.
Each HP D2D2503 Target Appliance can support up to six Source Appliances.
Each HP D2D2504 Target Appliance can support up to eight Source Appliances.
Each share or library on the Target Appliance must be uniquely mapped to one share or library
on a Source Appliance. For example: a company has 6 remote sites and a Data Center. Four of
the remote sites have one device (library or share) each that requires replicating; two have two
devices (libraries or shares) each. This means that 8 corresponding devices are required on the
HP D2D2504 Target Appliance in the Data Center.

Each HP D2D4312 Target Appliance can support up to 50 Source Appliances.
Each HP D2D4324 Target Appliance can support up to 50 Source Appliances.
Shares may only be mapped on a one-to-one basis, but each library on the Target Appliance may
be mapped to a maximum of 4 libraries on each Source Appliance. In other words, one Source
Share may be mapped into a single HP D2D 4xxx Series Target Share; up to four Source Libraries
may be mapped into a single HP D2D 4xxx Series Target Library.
For example: a research establishment has 5 remote sites, and a total of 10 Source Appliances.
