e6: Auto Bracketing (Mode M)
This option determines which settings are affected when [AE &
flash] or [AE only] is selected for Custom Setting e5 in manual
exposure mode.
Option Description
Camera varies shutter speed (Custom Setting e5
i÷._:i? Flash/speed set to [AE only]) or shutter speed and flash level
(default)
Custom Setting e5 set to [AE & flash]).
Camera varies shutter speed and aperture
i_:i::.-@Flash/speed/ (Custom Setting e5 set to [AE only]) or shutter
aperture speed, aperture, and flash level (Custom Setting e5
set to [AE & flash]).
Camera varies aperture (Custom Setting e5 set to
2+@ Flash/ [AE only]) or aperture and flash level (Custom
aperture Setting e5 set to [AE & flash]).
Camera varies flash level only (Custom Setting e5
Flash only set to [AE & flash]).
Flash bracketing is performed only with i-TTL or AA flash control. If
a setting other than [Flash only] is selected and the flash is not
used, ISO sensitivity will be fixed at the value for the first shot,
regardless of the setting selected for ISO sensitivity auto control
(pg. 96).
