Function
Print a test pattern and check the thermal head for
abnormalities (missing dots, etc.), and also check the
operation of the reception motor.
Rotate the transmission and reception motors to check the
operation of the motors.
Send four kinds of FAX signals to check the sending function
of the modem.
1) 1100 Hz: Consecutive signal of EOM for tonal.
2) 2100 Hz: G2 carrier signal
Consecutive of CED signal
3) G3, V29 training signal [modulation wave of carrier signal
(1700 Hz)]
Indicate the version and check sum of the ROM.
Turn on the LEDs of the image sensor and operate the read
system.
Check the LCD indication.
Illuminate all dots to check if they are normal.
