SET UP Operation
AUTO POWER ON
Select SET to power up the TV at the same time as the cable box or other components or select OFF.
Press to select AUTO POWER ON.
Press to select SET or OFE
SET _ OFF
CHAN BANNER
Select ON to display the CHANNEL BANNER on the screen or select OFE
Press to select CHAN BANNER.
Press to select ON or OFE
ON _ OFF
SIDE BAR
Do not display a picture in 4:3 mode for an extended period, as - side bars
this can cause an after-image to remain on the side bars on _ ,
[
either side of the display field. |
To prevent the appearance of such an after-image, change the i

Press to select the
SIDE BAR.
Press to select
OFF, DARK, MID, BRIGHT.

Notes:
• Setting the side bar to bright mode for an extended period may result in occurence of after-images.
*The side bar may flash (alternate black/white) depending on the picture being shown on the screen. In such
an occurrence, use the Cinema mode.
