Problem
Pump has following problems:
failure to producepressure,
erratic pressure, chattering, loss
of pressure, low water voJume,
[)etergent faib to mix with spray,
Engine runs good at nooload but
"bogs" when load is added.
Engine will not start; or starts and
runs rough.

Low pressure spray tip instalbd.
Water inlet is blocked.
3. Inadequate water supply.
4. Inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
5. Clogged inlet hose strainer.
6. Water supply is over IO0°F.
7. High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
8. Gun ieaks.
9. Nozzleis obstructed.
10. Pump is fauIty.
Detergent shut-off vaive is in the
"Off" position.
High pressure spray tip installed.
Engine speed is too slow.
1. Dirty air cleaner.
2. Out of fuel.
3. Stale fuel.
4. Spark plug wire not connected to
spark plug.
5. Bad spark plug.
6. Water in fuel.
7. Excessively rich fuel mixture.

I. Repiacewith high pressure spray tip.
2. Clearinlet.
3. Provide adequatewater flow.
4. Straighten inlet bose, patch leak.
5. Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
6. Provide cooler water supply.
7. Clearblocks in high pressure hose or
replace hose.
8. Replacegun.
9. Cleannozzle.
10. Contact Sears service facility
1. Rotate detergent shut-off valve to "On"
position.
2. Repiacewith iow pressure spray tip.
Move throttle control to FASTposition, if
engine stiii "bogs down", contact Sears
service facility.
1. Cleanor replace air cleaner.
2. Fill fuei tank.
3. Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
4. Connectwire to spark plug.
5. Repiacespark plug.
6. Drain fueI tank; filI with fresh fuel.
7. Contact Sears service facility.
Engine shuts down during Out of fuel. Fill fuel tank.
