Changing the display brightness

Press the MENU button repeatedly to
select "Set Dimmer".

Within 30 seconds, press the ENTER
button.

Within 30 seconds, move the operation
lever toward TUNING UP or TUNING
DOWN to select the display brightness.
Dimmer on:
After 30 seconds of inactivity, the backlight
goes dim. Press a button to turn it back on. This
is the default setting.
Dimmer off:
The backlight remains on.

Within 30 seconds, press the ENTER button.
Note:
When the unit is powered only by batteries, the display turns on at
the press of any button regardless of the dimmer setting. It turns off
after 30 seconds of inactivity.

" About DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting)
Digital Audio Broadcasting is a digital transmission system where
audio signals are converted to digital signals for broadcasting.
DAB is broadcast as a group of data called multiplex (ensemble)
which may contain one or more stations (services). Each station
contains a primary service and there may be one or more second-
ary services.
This allows several programmes or services to be transmitted on a
single frequency.
