•Keep away from Moisture, Salt or Dust
Wipeoffsaltordustwithaslightlydampenedsoftclothafterusing
yourcameraatthebeachorseaside,then,dryyourcamerathoroughly.
•Keep away from Strong Magnetic Fields
Neverputthecameratooclosetoanyequipmentproducingstrong
electromagnetic fields, such as electric motor. Strong electromagnetic
fields could lead to camera malfunctions or interfere with the data
recording.
•Avoid Intense Heat
Donotuseorstoretheequipmentundersunlightorhightemperatures.
Suchexposurecouldleadtotheleakageofthebatteriesordeformation
ofthecasing.
•Avoid rapid temperature changes
Rapidlymovingtheequipmentbetweenhotandcoldtemperatures
maycausewaterdropletstoformonitsexteriorandinterior.To
preventcondensation,placetheequipmentinitscarrycaseora
plasticbagbeforeexposingittoarapidtemperaturechange.
•Battery
Inlowtemperaturecircumstances,thebatterycapacitymaydecrease
significantly due to the inactive chemical reaction. When taking pictures
incoldweather,keepawarmbackupbatteryonhand.
Shouldthebatteryterminalsbecomedirty,wipethemwithadry,clean
clothoruseanerasertoremovethestains.
