EXTERNAL SURFACES
Ifyour chain s aw istobestored fora
period of time, dean it thoroughly
before storage. Store in a clean dry area.
• Lightly oil external metat surfaces and
guide bar.
• Oil the chain and wrap it in heavy
paper or cloth.
To prevent chain oil seepage during
storage, store the saw as follows:
• upside down if stored on a shelf, or
• hung on a hook or nail through the
hole in the bar
