RED battery
cable to
positive
(+) battery
terminal
with hex
bolt and keps nut as shown. Tighten
securely.
7. Connect
BLACK grounding
cable to
negative
(-) battery
terminal
with re-
maining
hex bolt and keps nut. Tighten
securely
8.
Close terminal
access
doors.

TO REPLACE
HEADLIGHT
LAMP
_i, CAUTION:
When lit, the halogen
lamps
get extremely hot. Hold lamp assembly by
the holder and do not touch the bulb.
1. Raise hood.
2.
Disconnect harness
from lamp assem-
bly.
3.
Rotate counterclockwise
and pull lamp
assembly out of the hole in the back-
side of the grill.
4.
Insert new lamp assembly and rotate
clockwise
to lock.
5.
Reconnect
harness
to lamp assembly.
6. Close hood.
INTERLOCKS
AND RELAYS
Loose or damaged
wiring may cause
your tractor to run poorly, stop running, or
prevent it from starting,
• Check wiring. See electrical wiring
diagram in the Repair Parts section.
TO REPLACE
FUSE
Replace
with 20 amp automotive-type
plug-in fuse.
The fuse holder is located
behind the dash.
TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL AS-
SEMBLY
1. Raise hood.
2. Unsnap headlight wire connector.
3. Stand in front of tractor. Grasp hood at
sides, tilt toward engine and lift off of
tractor.
4. When replacing hood, be sure to re-
connect the headlight wire connector.

repair establishment

repairs
must be performed

engine
manufacturer's

outlet.
TO ADJUSTTHROTTLE
CONTROL
CABLE
The throttle control has been preset at the
factory
and adjustment
should not be nec-
essary. Check adjustment
as described
below before
loosening
cable. If adjust-
ment is necessary,
proceed
as follows:
1. With engine
not running,
move throttle
control
lever to fast position.
2.
Check that speed control
lever is
against
stop screw. If it is not, loosen
casing
clamp screw and pull throttle
cable until lever is against screw.
Tighten
clamp screw securely.
