insIallaticn.

For Windows 2000 Users
The conflict message is displayed dudng
installation. However, tecting by the manufacturer
has confirmed functionaliIy of this Camcordor
with Windows 2000. Click( [Yesl and proceed.
7 Click [OK] ".'#hen the [Restarting Windows]
Dialogue box appears.
• Connecting Computer and Camcorder
Install USB Driver before conncoting.
Never connect the USD Connecting Cable
until the USB Driver is installed.
Before making these connections, turn off all
devices which arc Io be connected.
eWhon using 1he USB Connection Kit, it is
recommended thai you use the AC Adaptor as
the power supply Of the Camcorder.
• For Using Built-in SD Drive
By connecting 1he C;.tmcorder ;.tnd Personal
CompuIor wiIh the USB Cable, you can Iransfer
still imagos saved On a Memory Card directly to
your Personal CcmpuIer.
For Windows
1 Insert the Memory Card into the Camcordet.
2 Set the Camcorder to PC Mode.
3 Connect the Camcorder to your personal
computer with USB Cable.
• II enIors PC Connecting Mode.
4 Open [My Computer] and click
[Removable Disk[ (For Windows 90SE/Me/
2080 users).
Click [Open folder to view files using
Windows Explorer] and then [OK] (For
Windows XP users),

C;_trd and also save them Io your hard dis_:.
• Pier,so do not change file or folder names On
1he Pore•hal Computer. The images on 1he
Memory Card may then not be viewablo on
theCamcordor.
• After making the connections, 1urn the
connected equipment on.

auIomatically installed by Windows Plug and
Play when conncoted for 1he first time.
eA[tor the USB Ddvor is installed and USB
Connection Cable is connected Io the
Camcorder, open lMy Computorj or
[Windows ExplororJ Io check that 1he ddvo is
displayed as a removable dis_: drive [only when
card is inserted into 1he Camcorder]. II enables
you to operate it in the same way as a floppy
disk ddvo, and you can use the same drag and
drop or copy methods.
