Is the other person hearing an echo?
• Try decreasing the Treo's volume to avoid coupling or feedback on the
other person's end. This applies to both speakerphone and the built-in
handset speaker.
• Position the Treo handset closer to your ear to prevent sound leaking
back to the microphone. Keep your hand away from the microphone hole,
which is on the back of your Treo near the bottom of the device.
• If you're using Speakerphone mode with the device lying on a flat
surface, try turning the Treo "face down" (screen facing the surface).
Are you hearing your own voice echo?
• Ask the other person to turn down their volume, or hold the phone closer
to their ear.
Is your voice too quiet on the other end?
• Be sure to hold the bottom of the Treo, or the hands-free microphone,
close to your mouth.
