LAN Subsystem

The Dual Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mb/s) LAN subsystem includes:
• Intel ICH10R
• Intel 82567LF Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller
• Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller
• Two RJ-45 LAN connectors with integrated status LEDs
The subsystem features:
• CSMA/CD protocol engine
• LAN connect interface between ICH10R and the Intel 82567LF Gigabit Ethernet LAN
Controller
• PCI bus power management

Two LEDs are built into each RJ-45 LAN connector located on the back panel (see
Figure 2). These LEDs indicate the status of the LAN.
