Migration, destination, and reserved volumes of Auto LUN cannot be used for Business Copy pair
operations. To perform a Business Copy operations, the Auto LUN volumes must be released first.

External Storage

If Business Copy is used with External Storage, you can create pairs to use the external volumes.

Continuous Access Synchronous

Continuous Access Synchronous volumes can be shared with Business Copy volumes.
You can share Business Copy P-VOLs and S-VOLs with Continuous Access Synchronous P-VOLs
and S-VOLs. However, You cannot share Business Copy S-VOLs with Continuous Access
Synchronous S-VOLs.
When you share a Business Copy P-VOL with a Continuous Access Synchronous S-VOL, the
write operation on the Continuous Access Synchronous P-VOL takes time. Especially, when
the Business Copy pair is in the PSUS(SP) status, the write operation on the Continuous Access
Synchronous P-VOL may take extra time depending on the time for copying process of the
Business Copy pair.
You can use both L1 and L2 pairs with Continuous Access Synchronous volumes. Both node
and leaf S-VOLs are considered secondary volumes by Continuous Access Synchronous.
The Quick Restore operation can be performed on a Business Copy pair when the Continuous
Access Synchronous pair is suspended.

Continuous Access Journal

Continuous Access Journal volumes can be shared with Business Copy volumes.
You can share Business Copy P-VOLs and S-VOLs with Continuous Access Journal P-VOLs and
S-VOLs.
You can use both L1 and L2 pairs with Continuous Access Journal volumes. Both node and
leaf S-VOLs are considered secondary volumes by Continuous Access Journal.

Access Journal pair is suspended
