position illustrated. Do not turn the lever

Oncharging thepre-installed
rechargeahle b attery
Your camcorder has a pre-iustalled
rechargeable battery to retain the date. time.
and other settings even when the POWER
switch is set to OFF/CHG). The pre-
installed rechargeable battery is always
charged while your camcorder is connected
to the wall outlet via the AC Adaptor or
while the batte U pack is attached. The
rechargeable battery will be fully
discharged in about 3 months if you do
not use your camcorder at all. Use your
camcorder alter charging the preqnstalled
rechargeable battery.
However. even if the pre-iustalled
rechargeable battery is not charged, the
camcorder operation will not be affected as
long as you are not recording the date.
Procedures
Connect your camcorder to a wall outlet
using the supplied AC Adaptor. and leave it
with the POWER switch set to OFF/CHG)
for more than 24 hours.
(_) Place the lens in the eyecup block so that
file three projections fit into the respective
grooves.
(_) Turn the lever in the direction of the arrow
to insert the lens fully into the eyecup
block.
