• The minimum distance required between your
camcorder and lhe subjecl for locus is about 1
cm (ahoul 13/32 in.) tk>rwide angle and aboul
80 cm (about 2 5/8 feet) fnr lelephoto.
• The focus may nnl be adjusled at certain zoom
positions if the subject is within 80 cm (aboul 2
5/8 feel) h'om ynur camcorder.
• Be sure Io keep your linger on lhe power zoom
lever. 11you move your linger oll lhe power
zoom lever, the operation sound ol lhe power
zoom lever may also be recorded.
IUsing thehandle zoom

(_) Set the handle zoom switch [] to H
(high) or L (low).

• You can set the zoom speed of the handle
zoom lever in [HANDLE ZOOM] (p. 61 ).
(_) Press the handle zoom lever [] to zoom
in or out.

• You cannol use Ihe handle zoom lever when the
handle zoom swilch is set to OFF.

You can zoom at the desired speed by
turning the zoom ring [i_, Fine ac[justment
is also possible.

• Turn the zoom ring at a reasonable speed. It"you
turn it too fast, the zoom speed may not catch up
with the znom ring rotating speed.
