Precautions
Do not use/store the camera in
the
following places

• In sandy or dusty places
Be era'till] llot to let snlld or dust get into tile
calnera. This may cause tile camera to
nmllunction, and in some cases lhis malflmcfion
cannot be repaired.
On cleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe file screen surtuce with ml LCD cleaning kit
(not supplied) to remove fingerprints, dusl, etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with n sotr cloth to rcmoxe
lingerprinls, (l/isl, etc.
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean the clmler+t sullace with +_ soil cloth slightly
moistened with wnter, then wipe the surlace with
a dry cloth, Do not use tile lollowing as they may
damage the finish or tile casing.
• Chemical producls such as thinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable cloths, insect repellent.
sunscreen or insecticide, etc,
• Do not touch lhe canlera wilh lhe

hand.
• Do not le+avethe camera in contact with i+ubber
or vinyl for a long lime,
On operating temperatures
Your cmller+t is designed lor use under tile
temperatures between 0°C and 41)°1 +"(32°F +uld
104°F). Shooting ill extremely cold or hot ph_ces
that exceed this range is not recommended.
On moisture condensation

If moisture condensation occurs
Turn oil tile cmnera and wait about ml hour tot the
moisture to e_,itpoli_te. Note that if you attempt to
shool wilh ii/oistllrc remaining inside tile lens, you
will be un_Jble to record cletu+images.
+On the internal rechargeable
backup battery
This camera has nn internal rcchmgeable battery
lot maint+dning tile dale mid lime nnd other
settings regardless of whether tile power is on or
off.
This rechargeable baaery is continually charged
as hmg as you am using the camera. However. if
you use tile camera for only short periods, it
discharges gradually, and if you do not use tile
camera a all for about one nlonth it beconles
completely discharged. In this case, be sure to
charge this rechargeable battery betore using tile
camera.
However. even if this rechargeable bglaery is not
chalged, you can still use the camera as long as
you do not record the date and lime.
