3. Gently press down on the battery until it snaps into
place (4).

Replace the cover by lining up the tabs and then
firmly pressing the cover down until it snaps into
place. Check that the battery is properly installed
before turning on the phone.
Removing the Battery
1.
Follow step 1 from "Installing the Battery" on
page 22.

Grip the battery at the top end (1) and pull it up
and out (2).
WARNING Do not handle a damaged or leaking Li-Ion
battery as you may be burned.
Charging the Battery
Your phone's Li-Ion battery is rechargeable and should
be charged as soon as possible so you can begin
using your phone.
Tip
It is recommended that you completely charge your
battery first before using your phone. This guarantees
you begin using your phone with a fully charged
battery.
