It may be difficult to focus on the following types of subjects. Use the focus
lock or AF lock in these situations.
• Subjects with extremely low contrast to the surroundings
• Subjects with extremely bright objects atthe center of the composition
• Subjects that are moving quickly
• Subjects through glass:
Try to shoot as close to the glass as possible to reduce the chances of
light reflecting back off the glass.
• Subjects with horizontal stripes
Shootingwith the FocusLock
Aim thecamerasothat an ohjectat
thesamefocaldistanceasthe main
snhjectis centeredin the
viewfinderor in the AFframe
displayed onthe LCDmonitor.
Pressthe shutterhutton halfway
(twoheepswill sound).
The focal distance to the object is locked,
Re-aimthe camerato compose the
shotas desiredand press the
shutterbutton fully.
