To Assemble Bagger
NOTE: For ease of assembly,you may wish to obtainthe
assistanceof anotherperson when puttingthe bagger to-
gether.
Holes in front ba_ger tube ere at an angle. Place front
bagger tuba against lower bagger tube and check for
properhole alignmentbeforeassembling bolts.
Assemblefront and lower bagger tubes using four (4)
1/4 x 50,Smm carriage bolts and rock nuts supplied.
Tightensecurely.
Slidefront and lower bagger tube assembly into the bag-
ger assemby.
Assemblefrontand upper bagger tubes usingfour (4)
1/4 x 50,8mm cerraige bolts and lock nuts supplied.
Tightensecurely.
Slipall the vinylbindingsoverthe baggertubes
Slide the bagger clumphandle throughthe hole in the
baggertop,installtheclevispinand securewith retainer
spnng.
Push cap over end of bagger dump handle.
NOTE: Forfuture use,theclevispinmay beremovedinorder
to usethe t'_ndleto clearthechute intheeventit hasbecome
clogged.
Bagger adjustment
Forproper bag function and appearance, it may be neces-
sary to adjustthe bagger assembly.There shouldbe 6mm
(1/4")-gram(3/8")gap betwecn the baggertopandfender and
(ha baggertop surfeceshouldbe evenwith the top surface
ofthe fender. To adjustbaggerposition:
Horizontal adjustment
Slightlyloosenthe nutssecuringthe bagger RH and LH
horizontaladjustment brackets.Loosen onlyenoughso
the bracketskeep their position,but allowthem to be
moved.
Move the bracketsthe amountforward or backwardyou
wishthe bag assemblyto move. Retightanthe nutsse-
curely.
Vertical adjustment
Slightlyloosenthe nutssecuringthe verticaladjustment
brackets. Loosenonlyenoughsothe bracketskeeptheir
position,but allowthemto be moved.
Move the bracketsthe amountup or downyou wish the
bag assemblyto move.Retightenthe nutssecurely.
Reinstallthe bagger assemblyand checkthe baggerto
fender fit. Ifnecessary,repeattheprocedureuntilproper
fit is attained.
