SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Antenna
If you are using an outdoor antenna,
y
y
please install it away from electrical
wires to make sure it does not touch
any nearby wires even when it falls
down due to heavy wind.
- Failure to do so may cause electric
shock or physical injury.
To prevent any raindrops flow into the
y
y
projector, bend the outdoor antenna
wire where it comes indoors.
- Raindrops flowing into the projector
may cause fire or electric shock.
Do not use a portable antenna outside.
y
y
- If you use a portable antenna outside,
lightning or raindrops may cause fire
or electric shock. Therefore, be sure
to use it inside only.
It is dangerous to wind a portable an-
y
y
tenna wire around a person, animal, or
object or to use the antenna wire as a
strap. Pay particularly special attention
to ensure an infant, child, elderly per-
son or a person with a mental disorder
or mental retardation does not use the
antenna wire.
It is dangerous to throw a portable an-
y
y
tenna or use it as a toy. Be sure to use
it as a TV signal receiver only.
Install a portable antenna away from
y
y
a person, metal, or an animal so that
it does not touch them. In particular, it
is extremely dangerous to insert your
head, hand, or foot into the antenna or
bend the antenna.
Because the receiver sensitivity of
y
y
the portable antenna may be very
high depending on the location of or
distance from a TV transmitter, area,
house structure, surrounding environ-
ments (mountain, structure, building,
wall, or window material, etc.), or
nearby transportations (train, air-
plane, or vehicle, etc.), it is advisable
to subscribe to cable television at the
home or office.
