Using the Face Self-Timer
To take a photo that includes the photographer, such as a group photo,
compose the shot, and press the shutter button. The camera will shoot
approximately two seconds after you enter the shot and it detects your face
(p. 84).
Choose ¢.:_.
Choose d in Steps 1 - 2 on p. 54, then
press the DISP. button.
Press the 4)' buttons to choose _:2, then
press the
DISP.
button.
_) Compose the shot and press the
..... shutter button halfway.
Make sure a green frame appears on the
face focused on and white frames appear
on other faces.
-_ Press the shutter button fully.
The camera will enter shooting stand-by,
and [Look straight at camera to start count

The lamp will blink and the self-timer
sound will play.
