Editing a Movie's
First and Last Scenes
You can edit out the first and last scenes of a movie in 1-sec. increments.
On the movie
playback
screen,
select
[_ ].
b The editing screen wiii be displayed.
Specify
the part to be edited
out.
_ Select either [_3] (Cut beginning) or
[E!_] (Cut end), then press <_-_>.
®_ Press the <4_>
key to see the
previous or next frames. Holding it
down wiii fast forward the frames.
®_ After deciding which part to edit out,
press <_-_>. The portion highlighted
in blue on the top of the screen is
what wiii remain.
Check
the edited
movie.
_ Select [_ ] and press < (_ > to playback
the portion highlighted in blue.
® To change the editing, go back to step 2.
_ To cancel the editing, select [_]
and
press <_-_>.
Save the movie.
® Select [L_], then press <_-_>.
_ The save screen will appear.
_ To save it as a new movie, select
[New file]. To save it and overwrite
the original movie file, select
[Overwrite].
Then press <_)>.

Since the editing is done in !:sec, in_rements (positi0n indicated by [_]), the exact
position where the movie is edited may differ s!igN!y from the pos!tion you specified:
