THROTTLE CONTROL
Thethrottlecontrolis locatedon the rearof theengine.It regulatesthe
speedof the engineand will shutoff the enginewhenmovedintothe
STOPposition.
PRIMER
Pressingthe primerforcesfuel directlyintothe
engine'scarburetorto aid in startinga "Cold" qkfP------=---
engine,or restartinga warmengine. I
OIL FILL
Engineoil levelcan be checkedand oil added
throughthe oil fill.
OIL DRAIN
Engineoil can be drainedthroughtheoil drain.
FUEL CAP
Un-threadthe gascap to add gasolineto the fueltank.
MUFFLER
Engineexhaustexiststhe enginevia the muffler.
ELECTRIC STARTER OUTLET
Requiresthe useof a three-prongoutdoorextensioncordand a 120V
powersource/walloutlet.
RECOIL STARTER HANDLE
This handleis usedto manuallystartthe engine.
ELECTRIC STARTER BUTTON
Pressingthe electricstarterbuttonengagesthe engine'selectric
starterwhenpluggedintoa 120Vpowersource.
AUGER
Whenengaged,the auger bladesrotateand draw snowinto theauger
housing.
CHUTE ASSEMBLY
Snowdrawnintothe augerhousingis dischargedout the chute
assembly.
DRIFT CUTTERS
Thedrift cuttersare designedfor use in deep snow.Theiruse is
optionalfor normalsnowconditions.Maneuverthe snowthrowerso
that the cutterspenetratea high standingsnow drift to assist snow
fallingintothe augersfor throwing.
SKiD SHOES
Positionthe skid shoes basedon surfaceconditions.Adjust upward
for hard-packed snow.Adjustdownwardwhenoperatingon gravelor
crushedrock surfaces.

grip againstthe handleto engagethe wheeldrive.Releasethe handle
to stop.
The drivecontrolalso lockstheauger controlso that youcan operate
the chutedirectionalcontrolwithoutinterruptingthe snowthrowing
process.If theauger controlis engagedsimultaneously with thedrive
control,theoperatorcan releasethe augercontrol (on the left handle)
and the augerwill remainengaged.Releasebothcontrolsto stop the
augerand wheeldrive.
NOTE: Alwaysreleasethe drivecontrolbeforechangingspeeds.
Failureto do so will resultin increasedwearon your machine'sdrive
system.
