deck baffleto access enginepulleyand slidebelt
off this pulleyand out from underthe deck, Figure
5.5.

and baffle,firstaroundthe transmissionpulleyand
thenthe enginepulley.
NOTE: Makecertain that beltis seatedcorrectlyand
that it is ridingsmoothlyon the enginepulleyand is not
pinchedbetweenthe lowerand upperpulleyhalves.

Replaceblade,blade adapter,and associated
hardware.Followinstructionsin BladeCaresection
for properassembly.
Tip mowerbackonto its wheelsand removepieceof

Thefollowingstepsshouldbe takento prepareyourlawn
mowerfor storage.
Cleanand lubricatemowerthoroughlyas describedin
the lubricationinstructions.
Wedo not recommend the use of a pressurewasher
or garden hoseto cleanyourunit.
Referto enginemanualforcorrectengine
storageinstructions.
Coat mower'scuttingbladewith chassisgreaseto
preventrusting.
Storemowerin a dry, cleanarea.Do not storenext to
corrosivematerials,suchas fertilizer.
Whenstoringanytype of powerequipmentin a poorly
ventilatedor metalstorageshed, careshouldbe takento
rust-prooftheequipment.Usinga lightoil or silicone,coat
the equipment,especiallycablesand all movingparts of
yourlawnmowerbeforestorage.
