Viewing Photos
To view photos from an iPod device, the IPV40 cable (sold separately) is
required. Connect the IPV40 cable as shown on page 6 and make sure to set
the IPV40 Cable option to "On" in the Setup menu as described on page 12.
Make sure TV Out is enabled on your device (consult iPod owner's manual for
details).
Press the menu button, then press PHOTOS to access the photo viewer mode.
From your iPod device, select the desired photo and begin the slide show.
In photo viewer mode, two hidden touchscreen controls are available (refer to
page 33 for more details):
Note: It is not possible to view photos on the in-dash monitor while the vehicle
is moving. This is a safety feature to prevent driver distraction. Photo viewing
functions will only operate when vehicle is in Park and the parking brake is
engaged as described on page 26.
Operation of iPod - Photos
Area A - Displays MAIN menu.
Area B - Selects between photo viewer and the iPod photo menu.
