OPERATION
To view video files from an iPod device, the IPV40 cable (sold separately) is
required. Connect the IPV40 cable as shown on page 6 and make sure to set the
IPV40 Cable option to "On" in the Setup menu as described on page 12.
Make sure TV Out is enabled on your device (consult iPod owner's manual for
details).
Press the menu button, then press VIDEOS to access the video files. Select the
desired video file for playback.
In video mode, four hidden touchscreen controls enable various functions
during playback.
Area A - Displays MAIN menu.
Area B - Selects between video playback and the iPod video menu.
Area C - Selects PREVIOUS chapter.
Area D - Selects NEXT chapter.
Note: Not all movies support the Previous and Next chapter feature.
It is not possible to view videos on the in-dash monitor while the vehicle is
moving. This is a safety feature to prevent driver distraction. Video functions
will only operate when vehicle is in Park and the parking brake is engaged as
described on page 26.
