If You Cannot Turn Off Your PC Workstation
Use this section if you cannot turn off your PC Workstation, the power
indication light is either orange or red, and you hear a "buzzing" sound.
Check if your PC Workstation is locked, whereby "power-off" is not

allowed. In this mode, the power indicator light is red. You will need
to enter a password to unlock the PC Workstation.
Check if you are in a suspend/standby mode. In this mode, the power
•
indicator light is orange. "Power-off" in this case would risk a loss of
information/data (refer to the Power Menu in the HP Setup
program).
If you press the On/Off button for four seconds, the system will be
automatically turned off. Note that this does not shut down the
operating system properly.
