4. Removing the Separation Roller
1) Remove the multifeeder assembly.
2) Remove the multifeeder cover.
3) Remove the two mounting screws, and remove
the upper left cover.
4) Remove the spring q at the front, and remove
it from the releasing lever w.

5) Turn over the multifeeder assembly, and lift the
separation roller locking plate e to remove the
separation roller r.
5. Adjusting the Pick-Up/Feeding Roller Pressure
1) If pick-up failure or double feeding occurs fre-
quently, remove the multifeeder assembly and
change the position of the spring.
q If pick-up failure occurs, increase the sepa-
ration pressure.
w If double feeding occurs, decrease the sep-
aration pressure.
