DC OPERATION
The DC receptacle should ONLY be used for charging 12-volt
automotive type batteries. The DC charging output is not regulated.
Connecting the battery charging cable (optional equipment):
1.
Before connecting the battery charging cable (optional equipment)
to a battery that is installed in a vehicle, disconnect the vehicle
battery ground cable from the negative ( ) battery terminal.
WARNING:
Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain
lead and lead components.
2.
Connect the red lead of battery charging cable into the positive ( )
DC terminal of the generator.

The battery gives off explosive
hydrogen gas during normal
operation.
A spark or flame can cause the
battery to explode with enough
force to kill or seriously hurt you.
Wear protective clothing and a face
shield, or have a skilled mechanic
perform the battery maintenance.
Wash hands after handling.
