SATA Port0-3 Native Mode (Intel P55 Chipset)
Specifies the operating mode of the integrated SATA controllers.
Disabled
Enabled
USB Controllers
Enables or disables the integrated USB controllers. (Default: Enabled)
Disabled will turn off all of the USB functionalities below.
USB Legacy Function
Allows USB keyboard to be used in MS-DOS. (Default: Enabled)

USB Storage Function

Determines whether to detect USB storage devices, including USB flash drives and USB hard drives
during the POST. (Default: Enabled)
Azalia Codec
Enables or disables the onboard audio function. (Default: Auto)
If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in audio card instead of using the onboard audio, set this item to
Disabled.
PCI Express x4/x1 Slot
Specifies the operating bandwidth for the PCIEX4_1 slot.

Enables or disables the onboard IEEE 1394 function. (Default: Enabled)
Onboard H/W LAN1/2
Enables or disables the onboard LAN function. (Default: Enabled)
If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in network card instead of using the onboard LAN, set this item to
Disabled.
Green LAN
When the onboard LAN function and Green LAN are enabled, the system will dynamically detect if a
LAN cable is connected or not. If not, the corresponding LAN controller will be disabled automatically.
(Default: Disabled)
BIOS Setup
Allows the SATA controllers to operate in Legacy IDE mode. In Legacy mode the
SATA controllers use dedicated IRQs that cannot be shared with other device. Set
this option to Disabled if you wish to install operating systems that do not support
Native mode.
Allows the SATA controllers to operate in Native IDE mode. Enable Native IDE mode
if you wish to install operating systems that support Native mode. (Default)
Sets the PCIEX4_1 slot to operate at x1 mode. (Default)
Sets the PCIEX4_1 slot to operate at x4 mode. Please note that due to bandwidth
sharing, the PCI Express x1 slots and the eSATA connectors will become unavail-
able.
