There is not enough ink to
complete the print job.
You connected the printer to a
DSL wall jack. The printer can
only fax using an analog signal.
The printer could not connect to
the receiving fax machine.
The broadcast fax job was too big
for the printer memory to hold
with the current settings.
The printer did not detect a dial
tone, or the call timed out before
you entered a number using on-
hook dialing.
Fax mode is unavailable due to a
critical error.
The Auto Fax Conversion
option is off, and the receiving fax
machine does not support color or
the resolution of the fax you are
sending.
Insert a color cartridge in the right
cartridge carrier. For more
information, see Replacing Ink
Cartridges.
Replace the ink cartridge, and align
the new cartridges. The printer
continues to print the remaining
pages.
Install a DSL filter before connecting
your printer to the wall jack. For more
information, see Setting Up the Printer
With External Devices.
Make sure the number you entered is
a working fax number.
Try your fax again later.
Set the printer to Scan After Dial to
use less memory. For more
information, see Dialing and Sending
Menu.
Check your fax connections. For more
information, see Setting Up the Printer
With External Devices.

Select button

Sending, and then press the
Select button

button to scroll to Auto Fax
