Turn the engine switch to "ON", then push
the starter switch. And check if the starter
motor cranks.

Turn the engine switch to "ON" then push
the starter switch, and check if the oil
warning light flickers.

Turn the engine switch to "ON" then push
the starter switch, and check the spark
plug for spark strength.
