Before you begin, you should close all open programs on
your computer and ensure that you are connected to the
Internet.
You can install Norton Confidential from a CD or from a
file that you download.
To install and activate Norton Confidential
1 Do one of the following:
If you install from a CD, insert the CD into the

CD-ROM drive.
If you downloaded your copy of Norton Confidential,

double-click the file that you downloaded.
2 In the opening panel, click Install Norton
