4. Remove the touchpad bracket from the upper cover.

5. Insert a small flat-blade screwdriver between the touchpad board and the upper cover,
and carefully pry the board loose. Remove the touchpad board from the palm rest.

6. If necessary, detach the mylar tape from the touchpad board.
