Cleaning the machine
surface
If the surface of the machine is dirty, lightly soak a
cloth in neutral detergent, squeeze it out firmly, and
then wipe the surface of the machine. After cleaning
it once with a wet cloth, wipe it again with a dry
cloth.
CAUTION
● Unplug the power supply cord before
cleaning the machine, otherwise injuries or an
electric shock may occur.

CAUTION
● Be sure to unplug the machine before
cleaning it, otherwise injuries or an electric
shock may occur.
a Turn off the machine and unplug it.
b Raise the needle and the presser foot, and
then remove the presser foot and the needle.
c Remove the flat bed attachment and open the
shuttle cover at the front of the free arm.
d Remove the bobbin case by pulling its latch
toward you and pulling it out from the shuttle
race.

e Slide the latch levers out from the retaining
ring to remove it.
