Turn the computer right-side up with the front toward you.

Open the computer as far as possible.
6.
Pry up the edges of the top cover (1), and then lift it up off the base enclosure (2) enough to gain
access to the cables.
7.
Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is connected and disconnect the cable
from the system board (1).
