Audience

This publication is designed for people who have some experience installing networking equipment such
as routers, servers, and switches. The person installing Cisco VG202 and Cisco VG204 voice gateways
(VGs) should be familiar with networks and telephony equipment and with electronic circuitry and
wiring practices, and must have experience as an electronic or electromechanical technician.
Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to install, replace, or service this equipment.
