Port number. HTTP port number used for connecting to the Picture and Video Messaging server
and for file transfer.

Server address. URL address of the Picture and Video Messaging server.
•
Connect via. Select the connection that your device uses for Picture and Video Messaging.
•
Send limit. Select the maximum picture and video message size allowed by your wireless service
provider.

Tap Done. The customized Picture and Video Messaging server settings will then be added in the list.
Notes • If your device already has preset Picture and Video Messaging settings, it is recommended that you DO NOT
change these settings. If you change the preset settings, your device may not be able to send and receive picture
and video messages.
• If you add several Picture and Video Messaging service providers to the Pics/Video Configuration screen, you
can choose one as your default Picture and Video Messaging provider. Select the Picture and Video Messaging
provider's name in the list then tap Set As Default.
Create and send picture and video messages
After your device is properly configured, you can start to send picture and video messages.
To compose and send a picture and video message
You can compose picture and video messages as a single slide or in a combination of various slides, where
each slide can consist of a photo, audio or video clip, and/or text.

On the SMS \ MMS screen, tap Menu > New, and then choose either Video Message or Picture
Message.
Tip
When you choose Picture Message, you can tap a preset template, or tap Custom to open a blank
picture and video message on the Choose a Media Message screen. If you want to always use a blank
picture and video message, check the Always choose custom check box.

In To, enter the recipient's phone number or e-mail address directly, or tap To, Cc, or Bcc to choose a
phone number or an e-mail address from Contacts.

In Subject, enter the subject of your message.

Tap the Insert icon (

Tap Select to insert the selected photo or video clip into the picture and video message you are
composing.

To go to the other folder where you store the picture and video files, tap the Down arrow (
navigate and select the other folder.

To add more slides, tap

Enter text and insert audio clips by tapping the respective areas. See "To add text to the picture and
video message" and "To add an audio clip to the picture and video message" for details.

Tap Send.
Tips
You can also send an picture and video message directly from the Pictures & Videos or Camera program. Do one of
the following:
• In Pictures & Videos, select a picture, GIF animation, or video, and tap Menu > Send. In the Select an account
screen, tap the Video Message (SMS \ MMS) option if you're sending video, or tap the Picture Message (SMS \
MMS) option if you're a sending an image or GIF animation.
• Capture a photo or an MMS video clip using the camera, and tap the Send icon. In the Send File dialog box, tap
Send via MMS.
