Caution
Formatting the card erases all images even if they have been protected.

Protecting selected frames

During index display you can select multiple images and protect them all at the
same time.

In the index display, select an image you
want to protect using FGHI and press
i.
Selected images are shown by a v.
To cancel your selection, press the i button again.

Press the 0 button.

Canceling all protections

This function lets you cancel the protection of several images at one time.

Select [RESET PROTECT] in the q (playback) menu (P. 108).

Select [YES] and press i.

Erasing images

Erasing selected frames

Erase multiple selected frames.

In the index display, select an image you
want to erase using FGHI and press
i.
Selected images are shown by a v.
To cancel your selection, press the i button again.

Press the D button.

Select [YES] and press i.
The selected images will be erased.

All-frame erase

Erase all images on the memory card.

Select [CARD SETUP] in shooting menu W (P. 108).

Select [ALL ERASE] and press i.

Select [YES] and press i.
All frames will be erased.
