The following is a list of HCO messages that may appear on the
printer's control panel
HCO Messages
Message Remedy
HCO jam1 Refer to "Clearing an HCO paper jam" on
HCO jam 2 page 26 to clear the jam.
HCO cover open Make sure the HCO cover is closed, the HCO
power switch is on, and the HCO is connected
to the printer.
Stack fault – Call 1. Important: Before you call your HP service
engineer representative, verify the following:

2. Restart the printer and the HCO.
If the message still appears, call your HP
service representative.
Error code: SVC D8 1. Verify the following:
l
HCO stacker alarm
l
l
2. Press clear.
If the error code returns, call your HP service
representative.
3. To continue printing without the HCO,
disconnect the HCO interface cable and
restart the printer.

printer.
Call engineer message :
Stops the printer and
takes it offline.
