LAN Subsystem

The LAN subsystem consists of the following:
• Intel 82566DC Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec) Ethernet LAN controller
• Intel 82801HB ICH8
• RJ-45 LAN connector with integrated status LEDs
Additional features of the LAN subsystem include:
• CSMA/CD protocol engine
• LAN connect interface between ICH8 and LAN controller
• PCI Conventional bus power management
