1. Move away (10 m) from other sensors while the
Forerunner is trying to pair with your foot pod for the
first time.
2. Bring your foot pod within range (3 m) of the
Forerunner.
3. Follow the specific pairing instructions in your
owner's manual.

Calibrating your foot pod is optional and can improve
accuracy.
Note: The calibration instructions differ
for each Forerunner model. See your
owner's manual.
Step 5: Run �r Walk
See your owner's manual for information about
displaying the foot pod data.

After 30 minutes of inactivity, the foot pod
automatically powers off to conserve the battery (LED
blinks twice).
Battery Inf�rmati�n
Note: Contact your local waste disposal
department to properly dispose of batteries.
The foot pod contains a user-replaceable CR2032
battery. When the battery is low, the LED blinks six
times upon activation (instead of three). Approximately
five hours of battery life remain.
To replace the battery:
1. Locate the circular battery cover on the back of the
foot pod.
2. Use a coin to twist the cover counter-clockwise until it
is loose enough to remove.
