Step 1: Connect My Book Live Duo to the Network
1. Connect one end of the included Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the back of the
device. You must use the Ethernet cable included, and keep the drive upright.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable directly into a LAN port in a router or
network switch.
3. Connect the end of the adapter into the DC power supply socket located on the back of
the device.
4. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. The device powers up automatically.
